'My English is not good'...
                            'I have poor pronunciation skills'...

These are some of the comments we hear from parents. Our answer is always the same;
'Any English exposure has to be better than none!'

Lack of opportunity to  practice spoken English here in HK is a huge tragedy, but it is perpetuated only by yourselves... Imagine spending many thousands of$HK on a cookery book and memorising all the recipes, but never trying to cook any! How will you ever become a great cook?

Most families can speak 'some' English and if you spend just a few minutes per day speaking to your children in English, your skill level and theirs will rise quickly and of course... it's FREE! Use repeatable phrases that will occur every day... Cleaning teeth, getting ready for bed, what to eat, what to wear' etc. These are happenings which will occur every day and can become familliar English phrases in your house and tuning your child's ear to receive English more readily.

Watch English movies, (Without sub titles) play Scrabble  and other word games together...
but remember; practice is not teaching,  so have fun with it!
